New Business Representatives (commission based)

Theory Group is a strategic design and communications agency based in New York and Los Angeles. We create brands, tell stories, curate experiences and change the way people engage with products and services. We serve an open range of industries globally and provide services such as brand identity and development, brand strategy, strategic design, web design/development, digital, content development, environment design, print, product design, packaging, advertising, video and more.

We are seeking New Business Representatives who would be responsible for bringing in new clientele and projects into our firm. We'd like people with at least 5+ years experience in client services or new business development with agency, branding, marketing, digital, or creative industry experience. This job is commission based and working hours can be either part-time or full-time. This could lead into a staff position in the future. We are looking for 1-2 people to work with either or both of our offices. You may work off site but be available to travel, meet clients, come into our offices, and attend meetings occasionally or if needed.

Compensation: Commission. May lead to a salary position in the future if interested.

Qualifications:

- bachelors degree or higher
- strong sales skills
- strong written and oral communication skills
- confident with a great personality
- ability to research and network with the decision makers of potential clientele
- self-motivated and able to work independently
- 5+ years experience in of securing clients in branding, marketing, advertising, web media industries
- knowledge of main office applications which include MS Office, Adobe Acrobat, Keynote or Powerpoint, etc. Must have experience with using the internet. Social networking sites is a major plus.
